This policy describes what information appliancefixdesk.com collects
when you visit, and what it is used for. The site is operated by
SoftNest (“we”, “us”).

What we collect

• Reading the site collects almost nothing. You do not need an
  account to read any guide, and we do not ask for your name, address,
  or payment details anywhere on this site.
• Server and security logs. Like most websites, our hosting
  provider records standard technical logs (IP address, browser type,
  pages requested, timestamps) to operate the site, prevent abuse, and
  diagnose faults. These logs are kept for a limited period and are not
  used to build profiles of individual readers.
• Analytics. We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to
  understand which guides are read and which searches lead readers to
  them, so we can fix weak pages and write the missing ones. Analytics
  data is used in aggregate, not to identify you.
• Contact messages. If you contact us (for example, to report an
  error in a guide), we receive the details you send — typically your
  email address and your message — and use them only to reply and to
  action your report.

Cookies

The site uses the small number of cookies a standard WordPress site
needs to function and, where enabled, cookies set by our analytics
provider to count visits in aggregate. We do not run advertising on
this site at present, and no advertising cookies are set. If that
changes, this policy will be updated before advertising is enabled.

Some external sites we link to — parts suppliers, manufacturer support
pages — set their own cookies under their own policies once you follow
a link. Affiliate links may carry a tracking identifier so the supplier
can attribute a purchase to us; see our Affiliate Disclosure.

What we never do

• We never sell personal information.
• We never ask for payment details, and no purchase happens on this
  site — buying a part happens on the supplier’s own site, under their
  policy.
• We do not build reader accounts or mailing lists from visits alone.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site
remains fully readable. If you have contacted us and want that
correspondence deleted, ask and we will delete it, except where we are
required to keep it by law.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this
